Complete oil-and-filter kit for the U.S.-market 2023 Yamaha YZF-R1M. Yamaha's combined R1/R1M owner manual specifies full-synthetic SAE 10W-40 or 15W-50 oil meeting API SG or higher and JASO MA, with 4.10 L required when the filter is replaced. Every variant includes 5 L total (one 4 L bottle plus one 1 L bottle) and your choice of Hiflofiltro HF204 or HF204RC.
Motul 7100 15W-50: the default street-service choice and a direct viscosity/wet-clutch specification match.
Motul 300V Road Racing 15W-50: the track/performance choice. Motul specifies a use-based change interval; it does not extend Yamaha's schedule.
HF204: standard road-service filter. HF204RC: Hiflofiltro's performance option. Hiflofiltro's official application guide lists the U.S.-market YZF-R1 M (B4S) from 2020 through 2024 with HF204 and RC. Non-U.S. catalog records can differ, so this kit is represented only for the U.S. application verified here.
Not included: drain-plug washer or air filter. Do not pour all 5 L into the engine; follow Yamaha's level-setting procedure and documented 4.10 L filter-change capacity.
