Quick answer

The 2022-2024 Ducati Streetfighter V2 uses SAE 15W-50 motorcycle oil meeting JASO MA2, takes 3.8 L with the filter, and uses Hiflofiltro HF159. The first service is 600 miles (1,000 km); the oil mileage interval is 7,500 miles (12,000 km). The time limit is year-specific: 12 months for 2022 and 2024, but Ducati's 2023 US manual lists 24 months. Use the first mileage/time limit reached, and shorten it for track or severe use.

This guide covers the 955 cc Superquadro Streetfighter V2 for model years 2022-2024, not the later 890 cc model. The year-specific time limit above is taken directly from the corresponding US owner manuals; it is not an assumption that every model year uses identical wording.

Oil, filter, and which kit to buy

Ducati specifies SAE 15W-50, JASO MA2 and a 3.8 L oil-sump-and-filter quantity. One verified 4 L container covers the documented fill; set the final level using Ducati's procedure. Hiflofiltro lists HF159 for all three model years and does not list an HF159RC application.

Motul 7100 15W-50 is the default road-use choice. Motul declares API SP and JASO MA2. Motul 300V Road Racing 15W-50 is the track/performance choice. It does not extend Ducati's interval; track use requires more frequent inspection and service.

Each kit contains one 4 L Motul container in the selected formula and one HF159. The drain-plug washer is deliberately not guessed. Hiflofiltro also lists HFA6004 for this generation, but we do not force a store link until an exact live P4M identity passes the commercial gate.
