Made in Germany, Ilmberger Carbon Fiber is well known as a premium carbon fiber manufacturer. Fit and finish is perfect with no modification required. Front fairing air intake in carbon is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all Ilmberger carbon fiber parts, this is manufactured according to the latest protocols and best industry standards. Made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave. Ilmberger uses special coating protects the best carbon fiber from light scratches and has a unique UV resistance. Note: Race version carbon is typically slightly thinner and lighter. The finish does not offer the same level of coating, in order to save weight. Race version carbon may include very minor imperfections due to the thin race quality carbon. Race carbon is still extremely strong and durable.
